Navigating nerve regeneration: insights into recovery following iatrogenic trauma
Seung Hoon Woo
Abstract
Nerve injuries resulting from iatrogenic trauma present unique challenges in clinical management and patient outcomes. Understanding the complex mechanisms underlying nerve regeneration is crucial for developing effective therapeutic interventions. This review manuscript provides a comprehensive overview of current research on nerve regeneration following iatrogenic trauma. We discuss the pathophysiology of nerve injury, molecular mechanisms of regeneration, and innovative strategies for promoting functional recovery. Additionally, we highlight emerging technologies and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.
Key Words: Nerve regeneration, iatrogenic trauma, nerve injury, therapeutic interventions, molecular mechanisms
